Worship for Palm Sunday, 5 April 2020

Worship at Santa Margarita has been suspended until at least 26 April 2020 as the result of precautionary measures relating to the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

At 11:00 (Central European Summer Time) on Palm Sunday, 5 April, the Eucharist will be celebrated at Santa Margarita. Because of the church closure, only two people can be present, the priest (Paul) and the assistant (Kate).

You are invited to share in this worship by following the words in this presentation, sharing the hymns and prayers, and listening to the homily. The presentation works as a video file, so you may control it (forward, back, pause) using the video controls. The service lasts about 50 minutes.

Many thanks are due to those who offered their services remotely for this service, especially for the Passion Narrative, and to those who offered images of palm crosses from their homes.

You will find links to both recorded and live (Zoom) worship at Santa Margarita for Holy Week on this web site, through this link.

The cost of maintaining the chaplaincy of Santa Margarita is completely self-financed locally, and during the closure of the church, there is no income from the weekly collection. Thank you Paul and Kate for a beautifully prepared service. Congratulations on the presentation .

We are fortunate to have such a compassionate and talented priest.
