Worship for Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Easter at Santa Margarita

Sunday, 2 April, Palm Sunday 
11:00service with blessing of palms and Holy Communion.

Monday, 3 April, Holy Monday 
The service for renewal of ordination vows and blessing of Holy Oils from Saint George’s, Madrid, will not be available online this year. However, the equivalent service from the Pro-Cathedral of Holy Trinity in Brussels can be followed on Tuesday.

Tuesday, 4 April, Holy Tuesday 
11:00, from the Pro-Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, Brussels: service for renewal of ordination vows and blessing of Holy Oils, with, Bishop Richard Frith presiding and preaching. The service will be live-streamed on the Holy Trinity YouTube channel, found at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChNpyTYouVaHopv2NT3rSVw
17:30, vespers for Holy Week, based upon Stations of the Cross, in the church of Santa Margarita and on Zoom
20:00, starting at the church of El Roser in Es Castell, and through the streets, procession of stations of the cross, Via Crucis, in Spanish. 

Wednesday, 5 April, Holy Wednesday 
11:00, normal mid-week service of Holy Communion from the BCP. 
17:30, vespers for Holy Week, based upon Stations of the Cross, in the church of Santa Margarita and on Zoom

Thursday, 6 April, Maundy Thursday 
11:00, service celebrating the washing of feet and institution of Holy Communion in the church of Santa Margarita. 
17:30, Tenebrae service, and stripping of the altar. 

Friday, 7 April, Good Friday 
12:00, three hours of prayer and reflection in the church of Santa Margarita, based upon Via Dolorosa, the way of the cross; a recorded version is available on YouTube, as shown below, which may be paused for reflection at each of twelve stations, so that a new segment begins every 15 minutes. The stations are illustrated by the artwork of Ghislaine Howard.

Saturday, 8 April 
20:30, the Great Vigil of Easter, with lighting of the fire and first lighting of the Paschal candle. 

Sunday, 9 April, Easter Sunday 
07:15, sunrise worship at Punta Prima beach. 
09:00, Holy Communion at the church of Santa Margarita. 
11:00, Holy Communion with hymns and the possibility of Easter eggs at the church of Santa Margarita. 

The Sunday services will be offered online through the church web site and YouTube, as has been the custom for the past three years.
