Winter is upon us ! Very chilly in Menorca as I understand it and certainly cold now here in the UK. Roll on some spring sunshine! This is the last news of 2022 – but more to come in January.
In the meantime Tony and I wish you all a very happy and blessed Christmas and a New Year filled with good times and of course good health.
Events this month and into January 2023 are :
DECEMBER
Wednesday 14 December. Next Wednesday, for those in Menorca, Advent Lunch at Bar Espana, Es Castell at 1pm. Please let the Revd. Paul or David Green know if you would like to be there.
Sunday 18 December at 6pm. The annual Christmas Service of Lessons and Carols will be held in church followed by mulled wine and mince pies after the service. This is a lovely occasion to invite friends and family as we look forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus.
JANUARY 2023
Tuesday 17 January 2023. Blessing of the Animals in the Esplanade (probably at 12 noon). More details in due course.
Wednesday 18 January. “Epiphany” Lunch . Yet to be arranged. Time, venue and other details to follow.
Saturday 21 January. Ecumenical Service for Christian Unity at 5pm in church followed by refreshments. Details to follow.
GOLF TOURNAMENT 2023. It is likely that this will be held in September next year. Details will be announced as soon as possible. Remember friends, visitors and neighbours are more than welcome to join this fundraising event.

We hope to continue with regular get togethers throughout the New Year although in the winter months it will depend on what restaurants are open.
VENUE RECOMMENDATIONS ALWAYS WELCOME PLEASE !
As an alternative to lunch, if anyone is willing to open their home for a few drinks and simple tapas or coffee and cakes or afternoon tea that would be very welcome. Please let Carole know
