At 11:00 (Central European Summer Time) on Sunday, 24 May, the Eucharist for the seventh Sunday of Easter will be celebrated at Santa Margarita. While the church remains closed as the result of precautionary measures relating to the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), only two people will be present, the priest (Paul) and the assistant (Kate).
You are invited to share in this worship by following the words (congregational parts in bold), sharing the hymns and prayers, and listening to the sermon (with apologies for the slight lack of synchronisation between audio and video for the sermon). The presentation works as a video file, so you may control it (forward, back, pause) using the video controls. The service lasts about 46 minutes.
The cost of maintaining the chaplaincy of Santa Margarita is completely self-financed locally, and during the closure of the church, there is no income from the weekly collection. What a joy to receive your Services each week.
Thank you. Poignant reminder of the lockdown on travel. Praying for all those affected with jobs and business, as well as those who have suffered loss of loved ones and continue to battle this day in whatever way. Amen
Another uplifting and hopeful service! Many thanks Paul. Simon and I really appreciate being included in the family of Santa Margarita even though we now live in the UK. Love and best wishes to you and Kate.
