It was lovely to meet some new faces (to me) at our September lunch on 23rd at 23 Can Avelino, Mahon – an occasion which seemed to be enjoyed by all !
There were also September visitors in church who I enjoyed meeting but who sadly were returning to the UK before the 23rd. Hopefully another time!
Our next Autumn event is later this month.
WEDNESDAY 26th OCTOBER – HARVEST /ALL SAINTS LUNCH
To celebrate Harvest and All Saints we have booked SUSHI ES CASTELL, which many of you will know and which is very local to the church, for lunch on Wednesday 26 October at 1.30pm
The cost will be 20€ p. head with a choice of 3 dishes from the Menu del Dia + pudding or coffee + drinks and gratuity.
It would be helpful if you would please let me know as soon as possible if you plan to join us. There will also be a sign-up sheet in church.
NOVEMBER
We hope to have something at the end of November although many restaurants will be closed for the winter so lunch may not be possible. Likely date Tuesday 29 November.
Please pencil the date in your diary. More details in due course.
DECEMBER
The Carol Service will be held as usual with mulled wine and mince pies to follow the service. Date to be announced!
JANUARY
Hopefully we can organise a get together – if not lunch then maybe just coffee and chat.

Make a note in your diary of the above dates and join us if you can. More information from me or from the Rev. Paul. We hope to continue with regular get togethers through the winter into the New Year
In November and January we will have lunch together if we can find suitable restaurants which are open.
As an alternative, if anyone is willing to open their home for a few drinks and simple tapas or coffee and cakes or afternoon tea that would be very welcome. Please let Carole know.
