For the past two years, worshippers at Santa Margarita in Menorca have been invited to vote for their favourite hymns, the top 15 of which were sung at a ‘Songs of Praise’ event in September. Votes cost 1 euro each, without limit as to the number of votes that could be ‘bought.’
This year we are repeating our Sponsored Songs of Praise. You can enter your votes using the contact form below, but your votes will not be counted until we have received the appropriate donation!
The top 15 Songs of Praise will be sung on Wednesday, 6 September, starting at 19:00; there will, again, be pizza provided for a small donation, so once again we will call it our ‘Praise & Pizza evening.’
As of 27 August, the top 15 hymns are:
- Make me a channel of your peace
- O Jesus, I have promised
- Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father
- Love divine, all loves excelling
- Majesty, worship his majesty
- My Jesus, my Saviour
- My life flows on in endless song
- Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart
- All glory, laud, and honour
- Morning has broken, like the first morning
- O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
- Praise, my soul, the King of heaven
- I, the Lord of sea and sky
- One more step along the road I go
- Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son
