Ancient Music Group – Gaudium et Musica

Gaudium et MusicaGaudium et Musica is a Menorquin instrumental quintet, with a vocalist, performing renaissance and baroque music.  They are amateurs, but take the term seriously, as a humble and rewarding source of satisfaction and an individual and collective exercise in modesty and sincerity in performing music that they love.

  • Toni Carreras (guitarra i guitarró)

On Saturday,  21 June, at 19:30, Gaudium et Musica will perform an hour-long programme at Santa Margarita church in Es Castell.

7.- Coral “Ach, lieben Christen, seid getrost” – J. S. Bach (S. XVII y XVIII)
8.- “¡Triste España sin ventura!” – Juan del Encina (S. XV y XVI)
9.- Del Cancionero de Palacio – Anònim (S. XVI)

10.-“Dona nobis pacem” (canon) – W. A.Mozart (1.756-1.791)
11.-“Canticorum Iúbilo” – G. F. Händel (1.685-1.759)

Admission is by donation, to support the work and mission of Santa Margarita, the Anglican church in Menorca.
